Make every book produce something tangible at work

Kai Insight is applied reading: it turns what you read (books, articles, podcasts) into decisions, conversations, experiments and habits tailored to your role and your projects. It is not another summary app.

The problem isn't reading. It's what happens after

You finish the book on Sunday. Tuesday is when it applied.

In the meeting where that idea fit perfectly, nothing came to mind that you could actually say. You highlighted twenty passages and not one survived the week.

Four sources highlighted, one recommendation still unwritten.

The synthesis between them still lives in your head and in a weekend you don't have. The client isn't paying for what you read: they're paying for the judgment you drew from it.

A year of saved highlights.

You've never reopened one to decide anything. A flawless library of quotes, and not a single decision that came out of it.

Every book that never lands is ten or fifteen hours of reading that won't come back. And what's lost isn't the idea: it's the judgment you were going to have in the next decision, the next meeting, the next hard conversation.

Kai Insight works exactly that stretch. It doesn't want you to read faster or collect more notes: it wants every read to end in something you can use on Monday.

How it works

1 · Tell it your context

Your role, your projects, the decisions on your plate, the habits you're trying to build. Without context, AI only produces pretty summaries; with context, it produces real application.

2 · Read and capture with purpose

Register your sources and save highlights born ready to apply: why it matters, where it applies, which decision it affects. Dictate a voice note or photograph the page, and the AI leaves it ready for you to review. No dead quotes.

3 · Generate artifacts and follow through

In one click, Kai Insight turns a source into an executive memo, a checklist, a conversation script, a two-week experiment or a cross-book synthesis, and turns what matters into actions with review dates and outcomes.

A look inside

Three real screens of the product, captured with a demo account: what you capture while reading, the artifact that comes out of it, and the actions you keep coming back to.

A book page in Kai Insight with three highlights, each showing why it matters, where it applies and which decision it affects, next to the panel that generates the artifact.
The source: every highlight is born with why it matters, where it applies and which decision it affects. That is what the AI has to work with later.
A decision artifact in Kai Insight with two sections of numbered criteria and their verification notes.
The artifact: criteria for one concrete decision, and how to tell in six weeks whether you got it right. Not a summary of the book.
The actions list in Kai Insight with tabs by status, each action's if-then sentence and its review date.
The actions: each one with its if-then, its review date and the outcome you write down when you close it.

For people who read to work better

Three ways to use it. Find yours.

The professional who reads to perform better

One to five books a month, on leadership, productivity or your craft. The occasion: applying them before they evaporate.

Checklists, two-week experiments and habit plans you review every week.

Start free. Essential when you want unlimited sources.

The consultant or strategist

Several active sources per project and a recommendation to defend in front of a client.

Memos, decision criteria, and the synthesis that crosses two to five sources for a recommendation with backing.

Pro, for the cross-source synthesis.

The leader or builder of judgment

Meetings, team decisions, hard conversations, or a newsletter that needs real ideas behind it.

Questions for the meeting, conversation scripts, and coherence between what you read, decide and publish.

Essential; Pro if you cross sources. With Kai News, every read also feeds your audience.

Who it's not for

It doesn't replace reading the book and it isn't a library: it works with what you capture. It isn't a note manager or yet another AI chat. And today it's individual: shared team spaces come later, not first.

Your next read can end in something you use on Monday.

Free account, your context in three minutes, your first source. The first artifact comes out of that.

And everything you expect from a tool you work with

Nine artifact types

Executive memo, checklist, habit plan, conversation script, decision criteria, meeting questions, two-week experiment, applied recap and cross-source synthesis.

Voice and photo capture

Dictate the idea or photograph the page or your reader's screenshot. The AI turns it into a highlight, and you review before saving.

Principles

A star turns a highlight into a principle: the idea that isn't a to-do and that you don't want buried in the book.

Actions with follow-through

Every action carries its if-then, a review date and an outcome. Closing it with what you learned is what turns reading into judgment.

Synthesis across two to five sources

Tensions, complements and shared principles across several books, applied to your context. Exclusive to the Pro plan.

Your language, the AI's too

14 languages in the interface, and the AI answers in your account's language.

Installs on your phone

Works as an app on mobile and desktop, no app store needed. Capture by voice or photo from wherever you're reading.

REST API and MCP

Everything the panel does also exists via API and MCP, with your own key. Use it from your tools or from your AI assistant.

Kai Bridge

Send closed actions to Kai Career Elevate as professional evidence, or highlights to Kai News as material for your newsletter. Only when you decide.

And what you apply, multiplies

Kai Insight is part of the Kai Strategy Lab family, and it talks to its siblings through the Kai Bridge. The result: every read pays off three times. You apply it here, turn it into professional capital, and make it a conversation with your audience. No copy-pasting.

🎯 With Kai Career Elevate

Every action you close with an outcome can travel to your professional portfolio as suggested evidence. What you learned reading stops being invisible: it becomes capital that backs your next promotion or key conversation.

📣 With Kai News

Do you write a newsletter? Send an artifact or combine 2-3 highlights, and Kai News builds ONE piece in your voice. Your audience gets real judgment, not rehashes of what everyone already read.

You're always in charge: nothing crosses between products unless you send it, and it arrives on the other side as a suggestion you also accept yourself. Each product stands on its own; the bridge is a multiplier, not an obligation.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from Blinkist, Readwise or NotebookLM?

Those tools summarize, store, or help you think. Kai Insight works the stretch they leave out: turning what you read into decisions, conversations, experiments and habits with follow-through, using your role and your projects as context. It doesn't replace deep reading and it isn't trying to be your library.

Why not just do this with ChatGPT?

Because a chat forgets who you are in every conversation and never follows up. Kai Insight keeps your context (role, projects, pending decisions) and uses it in every artifact; your sources and highlights stay organized; the actions it proposes carry a review date and an outcome; and your principles outlive the book. It's a system for working, not a loose answer.

What is a KaiCoin and how far does it go?

KaiCoins only measure AI usage; reading, capturing and managing actions costs nothing. An artifact costs 60, a recap 25, a synthesis 120, and a voice or photo capture 10. The Free plan covers about 5 artifacts a month, Essential about 20, and Pro about 50, or the equivalent in syntheses.

Won't the output be generic?

That's exactly the problem Kai Insight solves. Every artifact is generated with your context as input: your role, your projects, the decisions on your desk. The more complete your context, the more specific the result; that's why the onboarding starts there and not in the library.

Do I need to import my books?

No. You register the source (title and author are enough), paste your notes or clippings if you have them, and capture highlights as you read. Kai Insight works with what you capture, not with the book's full text.

Can I use it with confidential client material? How does the AI use my data?

Yes, and we treat it that way. To generate an artifact, Kai Insight sends OpenAI the source material (title, notes, highlights) and your application context. It never sends your email or account data, we don't store the prompts or the responses outside the artifact you see, and your data is neither sold nor used to train models.

What happens if I run out of KaiCoins?

You can keep reading and capturing without limit: KaiCoins only measure AI. Your allowance renews every month according to your plan, and you can buy a one-off pack without subscribing.

How do I pay from my country?

By card, as a monthly or annual subscription that renews on its own until you cancel, or with a one-time payment for the period using your country's local payment methods. Payments are processed by dLocal Go, which today operates across most of Latin America plus Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia and Malaysia; the Free plan works in any country. You get your receipt by email.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. The subscription cancels in one click and your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. You also get a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on your first purchase, separate from your legal right of withdrawal.

Does it work for my team?

Today Kai Insight is individual: each account has its own context, sources and actions. You can share any artifact by copying it or pulling it through the API, but shared team spaces come later. If you need them, write to us: it helps us prioritize.

Does it work in my language and on my phone?

Yes to both. Kai Insight is available in 14 languages and the AI answers in your account's language. And it installs as an app on mobile and desktop, no app store needed, so you can capture by voice or photo from wherever you're reading.

What is the Kai Bridge, and do I have to use it?

You don't have to: Kai Insight works fully on its own. The Kai Bridge is an optional multiplier. If you also use Kai Career Elevate or Kai News, you can send your closed actions as professional evidence or your highlights as newsletter material in one click. Nothing crosses unless you send it, and on the other side it arrives as a suggestion you also accept.
